About

I am an interdisciplinary data scientist, with special interest in behavior, ecology and society. Originally trained as a marine ecologist, I have been studying movement and social behavior of humans and animals using various analytical methods. Currently, I am mainly working on illuminating illegal fishing and its impact at local and global scales toward securing environmental and social sustainability in fisheries. My overarching goal is to catalyze various research fields by providing new knowledge through data science.
